This is what characterises our nature trails:
Adventure trail city forest of Teterow
Place: Teterow Client: City of Teterow Opening: September 2024The forest adventure trail in the Heidbergen of the Teterower city forest is divided into two parts. On the 1.6 km long ‘Forest of Talents’ trail with 10 interactive stations, the sporty squirrel Eddi accompanies visitors, who can test themselves against the talents of the forest dwellers. Forester Klaus and his granddaughter Mira philosophise on the 0.8 km long ‘Philosopher's Path’ with 6 further exciting stations about the forest affected by climate change and encourage visitors to reflect.
Nature-Active-Garden Auersberg
Place: Eibenstock Client: Förderverein Auersberg jederzeit e.V. Opening: April 2024At the 7 interactive Stations in the Nature-Active-Garden below the summit of the Auersberg, you learn interesting facts about the forest and the region, you can also solve exciting tasks in groups. Concentration, skills, strength and teamwork are required. At each station, the mascot ‘Rootrudi’ asks tricky questions. The letters you receive as answers form a word that you can use to find a treasure. A reward awaits you in the Auersberg restaurant.
Extra tour Wasserkuppe
Place: Gersfeld Client: Biosphere reserve administration Rhön Opening: October 2023The Extra route at the montain of fliers is almost 11 km long. Along this award-winning premium hiking trail are 6 info boards with intresting facts about plant and animal species of the Rhön montain meadows.
2 of the 6 stations are designed with adventure elements: A audio station about meadow birds and a mountain meadow quiz invite visistors to test their knowledge in a fun way. The theme focuses on the typical mountain meadows, mat-grass grassland and rare meadow breeders around the Wasserkuppe.
Nature trail at Findlingspark Nochten
Place: Nochten Client: Förderverein Lausitzer Findlingspark Nochten Opening: March 2023We modernised the visitor guidance system in the Findlingspark Nochten and added a nature experience trail. Due to its location in the border triangle, all signage is in three languages (German, Polish, Czech).
Fishing adventure trail Erlichthof
Place: Rietschen Client: Municipal administration Rietschen Opening: June 2022The 1.5 km long fishing-path is an adventure for the whole family. If you get involved in the story about the extinguished Erlicht and take the map and the Erlicht amulet with you, you can experience the talking alder, take a frog language course, cook a fish meal and help the fisher to haul in the net. Once all tasks from the 9 stations have been completet and all the riddles solved, the Erlight on the village square lights up again and happiness returns to the villagers. If you were attentive, you even met Aquarius on the way.
The Bartheschatz - a nature trail in the Kronenwald forest
Place: Schuenhagen Client: chance.natur, County of Vorpommern-Rügen Opening: June 2022Anyone who knows anything about trees knows that every tree species has a very special appearance, special preferences and characteristics. But who knows that a tree spirit lives in every tree, looking after it and somehow resembling it?
Wupatz' nature trail
Place: Erkner Client: City of Erkner Opening: August 2020Waldwichtel Wupatz leads along a 3.6 kilometre circular trail through the foothills of the Löcknitz valley.
At 16 stations, visitors learn his forest wisdom on flora, fauna and landscape structure and get to know them in a playful way through interaction.
Ice age trail Neschwitz
Place: Neschwitz Client: Nature conservation station Neschwitz Opening: July 2020More than 30 erratic blocks from the area around Neschwitz (mainly from the Caminau kaolin quarry) can now be seen diretly in the castle park. Three information boards provide intresting facts about the Ice Age in Upper Lusatia through texts, graphics, photos and audios clips.
Forest adventure trail Fuhlendorf
Place: Fuhlendorf Client: Municipality of Fuhlendorf, Barth office Opening: June 2020On the 2.2 km circular trail, visitors can find 7 gemstones at 7 stations, solve 7 puzzles and explore 7 exciting interactions with the Fuhlendorf Forest. The "forest eye" trail and the "puzzle animals" add to the experience.
Trail Kavelwiesen Sernitzniederung
Place: Greiffenberg Client: EU Life-Projekt Schreiadler Opening: 2019The Sernitz Moor, located to the east and west of the town of Greiffenberg, is one of the most valuable moor complexes in Brandenburg, covering an area of 800 ha. The discovery trail introduces visitors to this particulary species-rich area. We created the concept, the detail planning and layout.
Extra tour Ulmenstein
Place: Hofaschenbach Client: Administration of the biosphere reserve Rhön Opening: October 2017Chapels, hilltops and basalt cones characterise this circular hiking trail near Ulmenstein. Along the way, visitors learn intreasting facts about the region's calcareous grassland, the basalt mining and the formation of the cultural landcsape.
Treetop walkway „Ivenacker Eichen“
Place: Ivenack, Stavenhagen Client: Foresty district MV, foresty district Stavenhagen Opening: August 2017The treetop walkway has meandering paths over a length of 620 m and a height of 16 to 23 m above the ground. The tower offers a panoramic view over the tree-rich zoo an Lake Ivenack. The concept from the engineering office “Natur und Bildung” includes 7 themes and 14 interactiv stations along the treetop walkway.
Discovery path Hohe Rhön
Place: Hohe Rhön Client: Association of administration Hohe Rhön Opening: 201520 stations and attractions along a 18 km hiking trail - that's the Hohe Rhön adventure trail. It's made up of various sections and themes.
For example, there are stations where children can climb like ants or hop like squirrels. The Information boards provide intresting facts about water, forest, legends and stories about the border.
Humboldt discovery trail Wurzbach
Place: Wurzbach Opening: 2013In 1792, Alexander von Humboldt visited the small town of Wurzbach as a young mining assessor. Thanks to a leap in time, Alexander is back today and accompanies visitors with lots of fun and interaction through the landscape of the Schiefergebirge up to the Rennsteig.
Erlebnispfad "Sagenhafte Lewitz"
Place: Friedrichsmoor Client: Landesforst MV, Forstamt Friedrichsmoor Opening: August 2013Das Sagenbuch der Lewitz ist auseinander gefallen. Die Seiten haben sich überall im Wald verteilt. An 14 Stationen werden diese Sagen interaktiv erlebbar.
Ein Holzbildhauer-Symposium zur Gestaltung: Im Rahmen eines einwöchigen Symposiums entstanden zu den verschiedenen Sagen der Lewitz wunderbare Holzskulpturen. Diese sind Bestandteil der Erlebnisstationen.
