Our interactive exhibitions have nothing to do with a dusty museum.
We try to serve our visitors a varied menu with the following ingredients:
Environmental education center Fischereihof Kleinholscha
Place: Neschwitz, district Kleinholscha Client: Nature conservation center Neschwitz Opening: October 2024Exciting objects and intercations inside and outside turn the newly building into an environmental education center. There are various wall panels with nature input, a look into the roof of the terrace you can marvel at regional birds of prey and you can “fish dry” at the water playground. The highlight (also for day guests) is the room theater on the first floor. Two wizards from a Lusatitian legend tell visitors about the specials of the Lusatian landscape and its flora and fauna in a 360-degree staging.
Mountain meadows exhibition Lauenstein castle
Place: Lauenstein Client: Grüne Liga Osterzgebirge Opening: 2023The exhibition at Lauenstein Castle invites visitors to immerse themselves in the microcosm of mountain meadows.
The centrepiece is a 4.5 m long, walk-through “microcosm tunnel". There you can explore from the the local mountain meadow with its variety of flora and insects from the perspective of a bug.
Mystery of the ranger hut
Place: Arche Rhön, Kaltenwestheim Client: City of Kaltennordheim Opening: 2023In the ranger hut, you can playfully explore the everyday work of a Ranger at various stations. You can solve the puzzles and tasks together in teams. There are diffrend levels of difficulty for all ages.
Eschefelder Teiche habitat
Place: Frohburg Client: NABU nature conservation station Teichhaus Eschefeld Opening: October 2019The permanent exhibition in the pond house not only arouses curiosity about the pond area but also honours the internationally renowned animal photographer Helmut Drechsler from Colditz. If you have time to spare, you can also try a game similar to an escape room. Who can find all the hidden clues and messages?
HausteichHaus Plothen
Place: Am Hausteich, 07907 Plothen Client: Thuringian Slate Mountains/ Upper Saale Nature Park Opening: April 2017Fish and frogs are the leading animals in this exhibition in a special setting: a house in a pond! In the exhibition, visitors learn a lot about the land of a thousand ponds, the history of the house and special animal and plant species.
